1. OVERVIEW

This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, returns, and replacements are processed on Instazipp.

Due to the nature of our business (grocery, food, pharmacy, and e-commerce), different product categories have different policies.


2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND / RETURN

Refunds or replacements may be provided if:

  • The product is damaged at the time of delivery
  • The product is defective
  • The wrong item is delivered
  • The product is expired (for groceries/pharmacy)

Proof (images/videos) may be required.


3. CATEGORY-WISE POLICY

🛒 3.1 Grocery & General Products

  • Return/replacement allowed within [2–5 days] of delivery
  • Product must be:
    • Unused
    • In original packaging

❌ Not eligible:

  • Opened/used products
  • Items without original packaging

🍔 3.2 Food & Perishable Products

(Following quick-commerce model like Blinkit/Zomato)

  • No returns accepted after delivery due to hygiene reasons
  • Refund/replacement only if:
    • Item is spoiled
    • Item is damaged
    • Incorrect item delivered

⚠️ Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery


💊 3.3 Pharmaceutical Products

  • Medicines are non-returnable as per safety regulations
  • Refund/replacement only if:
    • Product is damaged
    • Product is expired
    • Incorrect medicine delivered

❌ No returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Opened medicines

4. NON-REFUNDABLE CASES

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Incorrect address provided by user
  • Failed delivery due to user unavailability
  • Delay caused by external factors (traffic, weather, etc.)
  • Minor packaging damage not affecting product quality

5. CANCELLATION REFUNDS

  • If an order is cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be issued
  • If cancelled after dispatch, refund may not be applicable

6. REFUND PROCESS

  • Refunds will be processed after verification
  • Approved refunds will be issued to:
    • Original payment method
    • Or Instazipp wallet (if applicable)

7. REFUND TIMELINE

  • Refund processing time: 3–7 business days
  • Bank/payment provider time may vary

8. FAILURE TO DELIVER

If Instazipp is unable to deliver your order:

  • A full refund will be issued automatically

9. FRAUD & ABUSE

Instazipp reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund requests in case of suspicious activity
  • Suspend accounts involved in misuse of refund policy

10. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund:

  • Contact: support@instazipp.com
  • Provide:
    • Order ID
    • Issue details
    • Supporting images (if required)

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
